Most Americans are traveling less. But luxury hotel bookings are soaring.

But his clients are traveling to Miami and New York, Europe and the Caribbean, sending inquiries soaring by 15 percent this year. The typical hotel stay now ranges from $1,500 to $2,500 per night, up from about $900 before the pandemic, according to Satkowiak, executive vice president at the Luxury Travel Agency in Nashville.
