The Rams got one in a major way by making Skyline, the No. 3 team in 5A, look like anything but in a 31-14 win Friday night at home.
Highland (6-2, 1-1), which is the No. 5 team in 6A, gave up a 61-yard touchdown pass to start the game. But it then proceeded to go on a 31-0 run.
Jacob Vincent gave the Rams the lead for good on a 9-yard pass to Zaydin Alo later in the first quarter. Seth Bartschi booted a 46-yard field, Vincent hit Easton Almond on a 13-yard TD pass, Keaton Belnap scored on a 1-yard run and Cedric Mitchell broke free for an 89-yard scamper to all of a sudden make it a 31-6 game in the fourth quarter.
