A massive fire broke out today afternoon in the cargo area of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. The fire spread so rapidly that the airport authorities had to immediately halt all flights. The fire service reported that the blaze started around 2:30 PM near Gate No. 8 in the Cargo Village of the airport. No casualties have been reported so far, but there are concerns of significant damage to the cargo.
