James Van Der Beek recently shared that when it came to his ongoing bout against colon cancer. He said he ignored one tell-tale sign of the disease, all because it “didn’t feel like a real symptom” at the time.

The “Dawson’s Creek” ’90s idol, who currently lives in Texas, revealed in November that he found out about his cancer diagnosis back in August 2023, when he was 46.
