BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) — The Bradenton Police Department said an anonymous tip led officers to a house of starving, neglected dogs last week.
An anonymous caller alerted law enforcement to multiple large-breed dogs that looked skinny and underfed at a home on 10th Ave. West. Officers responded to the residence to check on the animals, but were refused entry.
On Tuesday, a search warrant was executed at the home of 30-year-old Adriana O'Hara and 33-year-old Timothy Miller, and officers confirmed the five dogs were "suffering from malnutrition and living in deplorable conditions." All were in cages without proper access to food or water, BPD said.
