To the editor,

One wonders how any thinking American believes that Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. Those who do, have put blinders on their eyes, earplugs in their ears and consigned their cognitive thinking skills to the cellar.

Self -promotion is not high on a recommendations list of the Nobel committee. The committee places a high standard on integrity. The prize is to honor those genuinely committed to making the world better, not seeking personal glory.

Trump currently made strides with the Gaza war, but his vacillating on Ukraine (back/forth with a pro-Russia/pro-Ukraine stance) could be considered action that prolonged it.
