The music world was rocked Thursday by the news that rock legend Ace Frehley has died.

He was 74.

Among those heartbroken by the news was fellow rock legend, Bret Michaels, and he took to Facebook to share his pain.

“Ace Frehley, my brother, I surely cannot thank you enough for the years of great music, the many festivals we’ve done together and your lead guitar on Nothing But A Good Time,” Michaels wrote. “All my love and respect, from my family and myself — may you rest in peace!!!”

Frehley’s death came just more than a week after he announced that he was canceling the rest of his 2025 tour dates to deal with health issues.

His family announced his death with a statement.
