For now, it appears that President Donald Trump will not be providing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy with the requested tomahawk missiles, as Trump plans to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Budapest, Hungary to broker a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine that would end the war that began with Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Zelenskyy visited the White House for a meeting with Trump and other members of his administration on Friday, one day after Trump spoke over the phone with Putin.
