CLIFTON PARK – Even working through a swing change couldn’t slow down Hayden Knapp in her quest for a second consecutive Section 2 State Qualifier medalist honor.

The South Glens Falls sophomore bounced back from a triple bogey on the par-4 11th hole to finish the two-day event with a 3-under-par total of 147 to edge La Salle Institute sophomore Maria Glavin (71-150) by three shots. Glavin was the only player to break par in Friday’s final round at Van Patten Golf Club.
