‘Wow!’ Trump Advisor Surprises Fox Host By Threatening Democrats With ‘Extreme Measures’ If Gov Doesn’t Reopen

Director of the National Economic Council Kevin Hassett surprised Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany on Saturday by threatening Democrats with “extreme measures” if the current government shutdown does not end in a matter of days.

Hassett joined McEnany on and at one point suggested there would be “extreme measures” potentially taken by President Donald Trump and Republicans if the government shutdown does not end by next week. Republicans and Democrats are at a standstill on passing a continuing resolution to fund the government as Democrats have demanded an extension on Affordable Care Act subsidies be included.
