OMAHA, Neb. —

The Omaha Fire Department is investigating a house fire near North 16th and Evans streets Friday night around 8:30 p.m. Upon arrival, crews arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the second floor of a two-story family home.

OFD says the fire was attacked from the exterior of the home before they attacked the interior. No injuries were reported, and crews extinguished the fire. The fire is under investigation at this time.
