Indian Railways has announced that several trains will be canceled for a few months starting from December 1, 2025, to March 3, 2026. This decision is made to ensure passenger safety as fog can create dangerous conditions on the tracks.

The North Central Railway is temporarily canceling 8 trains during this period. The main routes affected will involve passengers traveling from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, Jharkhand, and West Bengal.

The canceled trains include:

12209 from Kanpur Central to Kathgodam (9 December – 24 February)

12210 from Kathgodam to Kanpur Central (8 December – 23 February)

12873 from Hatia to Anand Vihar (1 December – 26 Febru
