Nampa Christian’s 41-8 thumping of Marsing on Friday has set up the Trojans for a winner-takes-all fight next week for the 3A Western Idaho Conference crown.
The Trojans (5-2, 3-0) will face New Plymouth (6-2, 3-0), which had a bye this week.
Against the Huskies, Nampa Christian put up 459 yards of total offense, with quarterback Pete Dice and Ian Johnson leading the way with three scores each.
Dice completed 11 of 15 attempts for 259 yards and three touchdowns. He found Ian Johnson (three catches 84 yards) twice for a score and Ben Bnudson (three receptions, 84 yards) once for the end zone. Johnson also rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. Mason Mills picked up 68 yards and found the end zone twice on four carries.
