Should he stay or should he go?

Florida football 's homecoming matchup against Mississippi State on Oct. 18 has been overshadowed by news that head coach Billy Napier is on borrowed time. With the Florida Gators (2-4, 1-2 SEC) under .500 at the mid-way point of the 2025 season, calls for Napier's ouster are growing.

Napier is trying to keep the focus on the field and on his players. Florida just concluded a 1-3 stretch against four straight teams ranked in the Top 10 of the US LBM coaches poll, becoming the first college football team since 1968 to face four straight Top 10-ranked teams.
