Kerala's Arjun Pradeep erased the men's 400m hurdles meet record on the final day of the Indian Open U23 Athletics Competition, which concluded here on Saturday.
Pradeep's winning time of 50.29 seconds was better than the previous meet record of 50.89 seconds set by P Yashas in 2022.
The gruelling decathlon gold went to Kushal Kumar of Maharashtra, who accumulated 6905 points.
Kushi, representing the Border Security Force, took home the heptathlon title with 5208 points.
