Left tackle Tyree Adams suffered an ankle injury on Saturday in LSU football's road matchup with Vanderbilt, according to the game's ABC broadcast, and he's questionable to return.

Adams was hurt late in the first quarter after a defender rolled onto his lower leg. Trainers attended to him on the field before he limped to the sideline, ducked into the injury tent and walked gingerly toward the No. 10 Tigers locker room.

Redshirt sophomore DJ Chester entered the game in his place at left tackle.

Adams, a redshirt sophomore from New Orleans, has started all seven of LSU's games this season. According to Pro Football Focus, he's allowed 10 pressures and four quarterback hits — the most among the Tigers' offensive linemen. Only right tackle Weston Davis has given up more pressures (17).
