David Attenborough, 99, breaks record as oldest Daytime Emmy winner. 'General Hospital' wins big

PASADENA, Calif. (AP) — Paul Telfer from "Days of Our Lives" and Nancy Lee Grahn from "General Hospital" have won lead acting honors at the Daytime Emmys. ABC's "General Hospital" claimed six major trophies Friday night, including best drama series. Ninety-nine-year-old Sir David Attenborough became the oldest Daytime Emmy winner for hosting Netflix’s “Secret Lives of Orangutans.” Jonathan Jackson and Susan Walters won supporting acting awards. Drew Barrymore earned her first win as a daytime talk series host. Lisa Yamada won the emerging talent category. Kardea Brown was honored as a culinary host, and journalist Deborah Norville received the career achievement award.
