Harry Kane continued his record-breaking start to the season by scoring the opening goal in Der Klassiker against Borussia Dortmund.

The Bayern Munich striker notched in his 400th goal in club football and his 19th of the current campaign in his biggest match of the year.

Kane had already celebrated his quadricentennial strike for club and country in April 2024.

But he has now matched it without international football just over a year later.

With 22 minutes on the clock, the 32-year-old rose highest from a corner to flick a header beyond Dortmund keeper Gregor Kobel.

It was his 12th Bundesliga goal this term, with the centre-forward destined to win the division's Golden Boot for a third consecutive season.
