Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri crashed into each other for the second time in a week after a second consecutive first-lap collision.

The McLaren title rivals both DNF'd after coming together on the opening lap of the Sprint race for the United States Grand Prix.

With Max Verstappen starting on pole, Formula 1 championship leader Piastri got off the line better than his Brit teammate, Norris.

The latter plunged down the inside line to regain the position in Turn 1, with Piastri attempting the switcharoo by tucking inside.

However, the Australian didn't account for Nico Hulkenberg's car on his inside, which crashed into his rear left.

As a result, Piatsri's McLaren was sent flying into his teammate Norris, which wiped the pair out in the collision.
