Boston Mayor Michelle Wu spoke out against President Donald Trump's administration at Saturday's "No Kings" rally in Boston, Massachusetts.
"Day after day, this president and his corrupt cabinet mistake cruelty for greatness, and chaos for power," she said. "These are the tools of a tyrant, desperate for the respect he will never earn."
Wu was especially critical of Trump's immigration policies, which include a crackdown in Boston.
According to a senior Department of Homeland Security spokesperson, the operation known as "Patriot 2.0" initiated in Boston targeted what the agency called "the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens living in the state."
Trump has repeatedly criticized Boston's sanctuary city policies.
