Somebody needs to come in and save the New York Jets from disasters. At least, that’s the general sentiment among the restless crowds after watching their team fall 0-6 so far this season. But who’s it going to be? Many people on social media have asked former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner to take the helm.

One fan suggested Warner as the head coach, quarterback Marcus Mariota from free agency, and a first-rounder of Warner’s choice to help the struggling Jets. Warner responded with a joke, drawing up the possibility of signing himself as a surprise player pick, but then proceeded to drop the reality check: no coaching role for him.

As Warner put it on X, “Can I take a Warner??? Haha – not a high pick but I’ll let him surprise ppl as Mr. Irrelevant did or maybe like his dad!! A
