The senior quarterback racked up 369 yards, 7 touchdowns and 4 two-point conversions on the ground in West Texas’ 50-49 Week 8 victory against Panhandle (5-2, 1-1). In a back-and-forth District 1-2A D1 contest between a pair of top-10 opponents that featured nine lead changes and two ties, Winters ran for a touchdown and what would prove to be the game-winning two-point conversion with a little more than two minutes left in the game.
