LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A pedestrian was critically injured Thursday evening in a collision at 9th Street and Broadway, according to LMPD.

The crash happened around 7:49 p.m. when LMPD officers responded to a report of a vehicle striking an adult male pedestrian at 9th and Broadway.

The pedestrian was transported to University Hospital in critical condition.

LMPD said the cause of the collision is under investigation due to the severity of the injuries.
