CHARLESTON, W.Va . (WSAZ) - West Virginia former House of Delegates Member Don Perdue passed away Saturday.
A release from the West Virginia Democratic Party said, “We are deeply saddened by the passing of former Delegate Don Perdue, a man whose life and career were defined by integrity, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to the people of West Virginia,” wrote Dan Puskin.
Perdue served Wayne County and all West Virginians in the House of Delegates from 1999 to 2016.
“When Don retired from the legislature in 2016, he reminded his colleagues of the true meaning of public service in his final floor speech,” wrote Pushkin.
Perdue was 75.
