Michigan State football is in for a huge test today at No. 3 Indiana (3:30 p.m., streaming only on Peacock ). But the Spartans will at least have their starting quarterback.

MSU QB Aidan Chiles was not listed on the team's availability report after leaving each of the last two games against Nebraska and UCLA. While Chiles is giving it a go, the list of other injured Spartans continues to grow and grow.

The Spartans lost the toss and received the opening kickoff.

After a season that started with plenty of hope, the Spartans are now in freefall. They are 3-3 overall and 0-3 in Big Ten play with losses to USC, Nebraska and UCLA.

The UCLA loss was particularly tough to swallow as the Bruins were 1-4 before defeating Michigan State, though that win was the week prior over Penn Stat
