VALLEY, Ala. (WTVM) - Two individuals have been arrested in connection with a shooting that left the victim injured by gunshot wounds.

According to the Valley Police Department, officers responded to the 6500 block of 64th Boulevard on Oct. 17 after reports of shots being fired in the area. When they arrived, officers found a male suffering from possible gunshot wounds.

Officers provided aid at the scene before the victim was transported to a medical facility.

After investigating the scene and nearby areas, officers collected evidence and made two arrests in connection with the shooting. Damien Antwon Goodwin and Brooke Cheyenne Wood were arrested and charged with attempted murder.
