After back-to-back losses, the Bruins shook up their lines heading into Saturday’s game against the Avalanche in Denver.
Johnny Beecher will make his season debut at left wing on the fourth line with Sean Kuraly and Mark Kastelic, a spot previously occupied by Marat Khustudinov for the first four games and Jeffrey Viel on Thursday.
Pavel Zacha moved up to the first line at morning skate with Elias Lindholm and David Pastrnak. Morgan Geekie dropped down and Mikey Eyssimont moved up to the second line with Casey Mittelstadt.
The third line is now Fraser Minten with Tanner Jeannot with the struggling Viktor Arvidsson.
The defensive pairings remained the same with Hampus Lindholm’s game-time decision the only remaining question.
Jeremy Swayman will start in goal.
