HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) -One person was injured from a shooting in Hartford on Saturday morning.

According to police, there was a ShotSpotter notification around 10:09 a.m. near 36 Roosevelt Street.

Authorities responded to the neighborhood and confirmed there was evidence of gunfire.

“Officers developed information that a victim of gunfire fled the area in a white Toyota pick-up truck,” said Hartford police.

The truck was later found, unoccupied on Cherry Street.

Officers contained to search for the victim throughout the day.

Around 4 p.m., the victim reportedly showed up to the hospital with a non-life-threatening “graze-type” gunshot wound, police said.

Officials are still investigating what exactly happened.
