BLOOMINGTON, IN – Michigan State football’s game at No. 3 Indiana saw just a short weather delay before the teams were right back in action.

Storms hit Memorial Stadium around 5:05 p.m., after the game started at 3:30 p.m. with windy and warm conditions. The call to delay the game was made as teams were in the locker room for halftime. Indiana led Michigan State at the break, 21-10.

Players from both teams didn't have to spend too much extra time in the locker room for halftime and were back on the field warming up at 5:32 for a scheduled 5:37 p.m.

Rain and lightning is expected to continue throughout the night in the southern Indiana area. Teams can't return to the field until 30 minutes after the last lightning strike within an 8-10-mile radius, per NCAA safety rules. CATCH UP ON
