A late hit by Zaire Franklin that drew a critical flag last week against Arizona has been upheld by the NFL.

Franklin was fined $11,593 for a late hit on Arizona tight end Elijah Higgins. Higgins ran a crossing route in front of Franklin and wasn’t able to catch an errant pass from Jacoby Brissett; Franklin hit him a step after the ball hit the ground.
