Greater Sudbury Police Service officers closed Lorne Street’s westbound lanes to traffic west of Regent Street for much of the day on Saturday while they investigated a collision.

No details on the crash were immediately available, including injuries or the number of vehicles involved, but an electric bicycle or moped could be seen at the site.

One eastbound lane was open late Saturday afternoon. Westbound travellers were advised to find alternate routes.
