CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Detectives are investigating a deadly shooting that happened late Saturday afternoon in north Charlotte, according to CMPD.

Police say the shooting happened around 4:30 on North Graham Street near W. Sugar Creek Road.

Investigators have not released any other details at this time. Anyone with information about this murder is asking to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.

Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Homicide Unit are conducting a homicide investigation in the 5600 block of North Graham Street in the North Tryon Division and in the 140 block of Park Fairfax Drive in the Freedom Division. As additional information develops, it will be released by the CMPD’s Public Affairs Division.
