Inflatable costumes, bubbles, loud cheers, honking cars, unique signs, Raging Grannies, cheerful marching, funky dancing, traffic jams and hopeful chants describe the scene at the "No Kings" protest in downtown Eugene on Oct. 18.
Thousands of people temporarily shut down the streets the morning of Oct. 18. The demonstration was part of a nationwide protest against the Trump Administration and to encourage local involvement in civil disobedience and a host of other issues, including immigrants' rights, protesting Flock cameras, protecting transgender access to healthcare, labor rights and much more.
