BANGOR -- Dozens of No Kings protests happened across the state on Saturday, and thousands packed into Bangor's Broadway Park.

Protesters say they're making their voices heard regarding their disapproval of the Trump administration.

"Enough of healthcare cuts so we can give billionaires tax cuts, enough of abducting our friends and neighbors in the middle of the night, enough of the corruption. Millions of people died for this democracy and we're not going to let the flame go out on our watch," said organizer Mary Ann Larson.

The rally was organized by members of Indivisible Bangor and others in the community. They say it's empowering to see the crowds turn out in support of the No Kings initiative.
