Toronto Police have a message for drone enthusiasts – keep your remote-controlled aircraft away from the skies above and near Rogers Centre.

Police announced Saturday that eight charges have been laid against seven individuals for illegally flying drones, including micro-drones weighing less than 249 grams, over the downtown stadium during the Toronto Blue Jays’ postseason games against the Seattle Mariners.

Earlier this month, police accused two people of illegally operating drones over Rogers Centre during Blue Jays playoff games against the New York Yankees on back-to-back days.
