A crowd of several hundred people occupied the four corners of the Public Square in downtown Carlisle late Saturday afternoon, putting a high-profile period on a day of “No Kings” demonstrations around South Central Pennsylvania.

The Carlisle protest, like almost all of the approximately 2,700 taking place across the nation, was boisterous, but peaceful.
