Celebrity fashion stylist Anna Lavo (who has dressed Meredith Marks and Summer House ’s Ciara Miller) tells PEOPLE what textures you should be investing in for fall to create a “visually rich” look. For Lavo, incorporating textures into an outfit isn’t hard. “The trick is knowing when to stop,” she says. “Great styling is about balance, not excess. When you pair contrasting fabrics thoughtfully, you create dimension; when you overdo it, you lose polish.”
