Nervousness around attending protests kept Madelyn Baca, 57, from showing her anger toward President Donald Trump’s policies during the city’s previous protests.
“ But because it's gotten so much worse since the last protest, we felt like we have to be here,” she said, standing next to her daughter, both lifelong Santa Feans, just minutes before the "No Kings" protest march began Saturday morning.
