EAST HARTFORD, Conn. — East Hartford police say that a boy was left on a bus Friday after possibly falling asleep without the driver or monitor realizing.
He was picked up in Hartford and was supposed to be brought to a school in Granby.
However, when the bus returned to East Hartford, the child was found by First Student, the company contracted to drive school buses in East Hartford, police tell FOX61.
Once the student was found, his parents were called, as well as the police department.
The case is still active and the incident is still under investigation.
FOX61 has reached out to East Hartford Public Schools and First Student for comment.
