Montana’s congressional delegation rarely makes local news appearances these days unless it’s a ribbon-cutting, a morning show softball interview, or another friendly opportunity to showcase some feel-good “do-gooding.” Case in point: Congressman Ryan Zinke’s news coverage of his visit to Yellowstone National Park earlier this month during the Republican-led government shutdown, where he was filmed wiping down a urinal and cleaning a public restroom as the park continues to struggle with a skeleton staff.
