DETROIT, Mich. (WLNS) — Mason earned its fourth straight win on Saturday, taking down Detroit Country Day 19-14 on the road.
The rushing attack of Troy Peters, Hayden Hendrickson and Carson Chapin all accounted for a touchdown leading the Bulldogs to the win.
"We knew we would have to be physical up front and our guys answered the call," said Mason head coach Gary Houghton. "At the end, our ground game was just everything. Our linemen, our tailbacks were patient, accelerated at the right point. Just some great old-school football."
Mason will wrap up their season next week on the road when they take on unbeaten Harper Woods, the No. 1 team in the state in Div. 4.
