Tens of thousands of people took to the streets across Washington on Saturday, joining massive nationwide “No Kings” demonstrations against President Donald Trump’s increasingly aggressive use of executive power.

With chants, inflatable costumes and colorful signs, protesters raised their voices against Trump’s immigration crackdown, unilateral slashing of federal agencies and orders to deploy National Guard troops to Democrat-led cities, including Portland, Ore., and Chicago.

In Seattle, thousands of demonstrators gathered at Seattle Center around noon and erupted when U.S. Rep. Pramila Jayapal took the stage and called Trump “deeply unwell,” urging the crowd to keep fighting the administration.
