MARIETTA -- A 30-point second quarter helped lead Mt. Bethel Christian to a 43-13 win over Dominion Christian on Friday at Arrow Field.
The Eagles (8-1) won the second quarter 30-6 to build a 37-13 lead at halftime after scoring four touchdowns in less than 9 minutes.
Their first score of the quarter came when Ronin Thompson connected with Asher Adams for a 20-yard touchdown and a 2-point conversion to put the Eagles ahead 15-7.
Mt. Bethel then scored twice in just over a minute.
First, Wesley Dunlop carried the ball into the end zone from 11 yards away to go up 23-7 and then after forcing a Dominion fumble, Thompson found Greyson Adams for a 2-yard touchdown to make the score 29-7 with 3:40 remaining in the first half.
