Srinagar: The Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Jammu & Kashmir branch, successfully conducted a comprehensive awareness programme on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for personnel of the 82nd Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at their Srinagar camp Saturday.
The event underscored the vital importance of life-saving skills in emergency situations, empowering security forces with essential first aid knowledge to enhance safety and response capabilities in high-risk environments.
The programme was presided over by Honorary Treasurer, IRCS-J&K, G.A. Qureshi and Deputy Commandant, 82 BN CRPF, Srinagar, Munir Khan.
Speaking on the occasion, Qureshi emphasized IRCS’s commitment to equipping citizens, especially frontline workers, with practical skills to save lives, stating, “I
