JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Thousands filled Jacksonville's downtown streets Saturday, many dressed in blow-up costumes, to take part in a "No Kings" protest.

The rally at the Duval County Courthouse featured speakers and chanting in connection with similar rallies held across the country.

However, it was more about the journey than the destination, as thousands marched across the Main Street Bridge to make a statement on their way to the rally.

"I'm here to have a good time," Alayna Puls said while wearing a blow up T-Rex outfit. "To show what I believe in. I'm matching goofy with goofy."

Puls spends most of her days as a student at the University of North Florida, but just for Saturday, she was a dinosaur.
