THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Gold, cash and documents were seized during a search conducted at the house of Unnikrishnan Potty, an accused in the Sabarimala gold theft case. The investigation officers reached Potty's residence in Pulimath, Kilimanoor and began the search yesterday afternoon. The search ended this morning.

The inspection was conducted in the presence of the village officer and the panchayat ward member. Potty’s family told the officers that it was gold they owned. The investigation team will check the veracity of the claims made.

Documents of Unnikrishnan Potty's property transactions have also been seized. Since 2020, Potty has lent money at extremely high interest rates to people. Documents related to this were also found. There are reports that Potty purchased land in the names
