A suspect was arrested for allegedly stealing $1,000 worth of merchandise from an Ulta Beauty store in San Bernardino County.
The suspect was identified as Jerome Willis, 33, of Hesperia, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
On Oct. 1, authorities responded to a retail theft at an Ulta Beauty store in the 12700 block of Main Street in Hesperia.
Store employees said Willis entered the store and stole around $1,000 worth of merchandise. He left the store without paying and fled in a Chevy Traverse SUV.
The next day, deputies with Victorville Sheriff’s Station spotted the Willis' SUV during a separate investigation.
Inside the vehicle, the stolen items from Ulta were found. Willis was taken into custody at the scene.
