FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - One man is dead and another is wounded after they showed up to an urgent care in Fresno suffering from gunshot wounds Saturday night, the Fresno Police Department announced.

Around 8 p.m., police report they responded to the AFC Urgent Care near Shaw and Marty avenues for two men who arrived with gunshot wounds.

Officers say the urgent care staff immediately rendered aid to the victims before they were transported to a local hospital, where one of the men succumbed to his injuries. He has not been officially identified.

So far, investigators say the two men, believed to be in their mid-20s, were shot at a different location before they drove to the nearby urgent care.
