PROVO, Utah — Utah football freshman running back Daniel Bray put the cherry on top of his breakout performance against BYU with a fourth-quarter touchdown to put the Utes up 14-10.

The 49-yard rush was the longest of his career, and the score was his first in a Utah jersey.

Coming into week eight, Bray had appeared in two other games and picked up 73 yards on eight carries.

Against the Cougars, he had 10 carries for 121 yards and a TD. And those were his stats with 12 minutes left in regulation.

The score capped off a 9-play, 90-yard Utah drive. It also gave the Utes their first lead of the game in the rivalry matchup at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
