Fremantle great David Mundy showed he is no one trick pony when it comes to sport, scoring a century in a suburban cricket match on Saturday.
Playing for East Fremantle Cricket Club, Mundy scored an unbeaten 103 off 49 balls to lead his side to a four-wicket win over Cannington Tigers.
Chasing down 227 in 35 overs, Mundy walked out at No.5 with his team at 3-90 and needing to get some quick runs.
Mundy would stand tall, smashing 11 fours and a handful of sixes in an unbeaten 101-run stand with Beau Purvis (17 not out).
It included a massive over where Mundy scored 22 runs, hitting two sixes and two fours to put his side firmly in control.
It was the second game of the season for the Dockers’ games record holder, having made his debut against Forrestdale the week before when he also sc
